Android 3.1 and 2.3.4 running device is now equipped with USB support to control accessories for integration. A beta DSLR Controller app is now available in the Android Market to do photography in your Android smartphone and tablet devices as long as you have the aforementioned versions, USB connectors fitted in supported Canon EOS DSLRs. Unfortunately, since this app is currently in beta, you might Face problems like connection errors or freezes that are immediately treated by “disconnecting your camera, turning it off and on, rebooting your Android device, and only then trying again” according to the app developer.
