The company has launched IdeaTab S2109, a 9.7-inch slate running Ice Cream Sandwich.
The IdeaTab S2109 looks and feels smaller than a 9.7-inch slate due to its curved edges and 8.9mm-thick. It weighs 1.28 pounds in comparison to the 1.4-pound 2012 iPad. Its a decent tablet that will suffice for most apps and tasks, but with more feature-rich tablet options available in the market like the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 available for less, the IdeaTab S2109 just doesn't click instantly.
The four speaker grilles on the back corners are one of the S2109's few unique features, as that's not a common feature with most of the tablets available. The grilles carry SRS logos and Lenovo touts the IdeaTab S2109's SRS Trumedia audio enhancements.
In comparison to the new iPad's 2,048-by-1,536-pixel retina display and the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700's 1,920-by-1,200-pixel display, the IdeaTab S2109's screen looks pretty bad.
