Google Glass has been given some significant changes in the new update. Soon users will be able to make calls or send messages to their Gmail contacts just by issuing voice commands via headgear without having to go to the OK Glass launcher card or touching anything.

Another new feature of Google Glass is you can tap on “message” from the main menu to send out messages to your friends from your Gmail “My contacts" List. Google glass has also added the ability to browse through different websites. User can use the "View website" screen to bring up the web page. It has also added the ability to browse through web pages. Once you are on a web page you can explore it further with just a touch of your finger. The user can scroll, zoom, look around or click on the page to bring it to the center of the screen.

According to the Google Glass page these updates will be rolled out automatically to your Glass over the next couple days. The Blog post suggests that the touchpad on the right hand side on Glass will be responsible for most of the navigation.
