Reliance Entertainment Digital movie-on-demand service BigFlix has added a new movie download feature for its subscribers. The service will allow users to download their favorite movies and watch them at no extra cost. BigFlix has more than 1 million registered users and over a lakh subscribers. It has partnered with entertainment houses like Reliance Entertainment, Disney, UTV, IndiaCast, Unisys, Shemaroo Entertainment and many more for its movie library. The company has a library of several thousand movies that can be downloaded to desktops and laptops with plans starting at Rs.99.

To download movies from BigFlix subscribers will have to install the ‘download manager’. Once it is installed users can just log on to the site and download movies and watch them even when offline. The service allows users to resume the download from where it was discontinued earlier in case their Internet service gets interrupted. Users can begin watching the movie as soon as the 20% download mark is reached.
