Google's Play store isn't the first app store accomplish 25-billion-download milestone. Apple's App store hit 25 billion app download in March this year. However, there are now more Android devices in the hands of users, than the iOS devices; so it should not take long before Google's Play store gains the lead over riveals in terms of download numbers.
