If Facebook planning to join the online ticketing business? The speculations regarding Facebook's next possible major venture were triggered after multiple reports said the site was testing a new “Buy Tickets” feature.
First spotted by All Facebook,
the new feature is for all Facebook Event Page owners, who can use it
to push ticket sales. The buttons enables users to click through a
third-party site to buy tickets.
CNET
says Facebook has confirmed the testing of the new button. The site
says the Buy Tickets only replaces the previous option – a bit.ly link,
which directed users to offisite to the event creators' selected
destination. Check out below a screenshot of the new feature posted by
Blink vice president of media Eti Suruzon:
The Next Web
in its report also confirms testing of the Buy Tickets button. The
report says Facebook is testing the new button in Israel and
Netherlands. Here's how the Buy Tickets looks like when users add ticket
