Want to get your kids off Facebook? Well, how about signing a contract and paying them for sticking to it? A father in Boston, USA has done exactly that.
According to Huffington Post, Paul Baier convinced his 14-year-old daughter off Facebook after offering a five-month, Facebook-free contract worth $200. You can check out Paul’s blog as well with the image of the contract.
The contract says that his daughter must surrender access of her account to her father, who “change the password and deactivate the account.” This is basically to ensure that she doesn’t reactivate the account. The payment will be in two installments.
According to ABC News, this was his daughter’s idea. “She approached me. She has been frustrated she hasn’t been able to find a babysitting job and she has been looking for ways to get cash,” Baier told ABC News. “So she asked, ‘If I didn’t use Facebook for so long would you pay me?’” he said.
