BlackBerry has launched its second BB10 OS powered smartphone in India, the BlackBerry Q10, a device that continues the hardware QWERTY keypad tradition that the company’s famous for. Launched at an event in New Delhi, the Q10 has been priced in the premium segment, at Rs. 44,990.
Specifications of the Q10
- It features a 3.1-inch 720x720 pixel (328 ppi) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
- Powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A9 (TI OMAP 4470) processor with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU
- coupled with 2GB of RAM
- 16GB of built-in storage (expandable via microSD card – up to 64GB). It supports only Micro SIM cards.
- Weighing in at 139 grams and measuring 10.4mm in thickness
- 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, and 1080p HD video recording.
- The Q10 also has a 2MP front-facing camera, capable of 720p HD video recording.
- In terms of connectivity, it features GPRS/EDGE, HSPA, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and NFC
- MicroUSB port and 3.5mm jack.
- No FM radio however.
- It packs a 2,100mAh battery that is rated to deliver 10 hours of talktime.
