Firefox as a browser has seen some major
updates in 2012 and all of them were for the better. In 2012, the
browser shipped in 89 languages and passed 3 billion Firefox Add-ons
downloaded. It is safe to say that the browser has become better than
what it was a year ago.
2012 also saw the launch of a new
version of Firefox for Android. The browser is compatible with more than
250 million Android devices. Firefox for Android has support for
Android ARMv6 phones with at least an 800MHz processor and a minimum of
512MB of available RAM. The Android version of Firefox of course has stiff competition from
Chrome, which has become the default browser from Android 4.1 Jelly
Bean.
