India's third-largest telco Vodafone on Wednesday launched Vodafone R206Z, a high speed 3G Mobile Wi-Fi dongle to offer Internet experience to its data customers on the go. Vodafone 3G mobile Wi-Fi provides data transfer speed up to 21.1 Mbps and is available for Rs 2,399, the company said in a statement.

Vodafone India chief commercial officer Vivek Mathur said that they launched Vodafone 3G Mobile Wi-Fi to meet the demand for high speed mobile data services and would further enhance their 3G offerings in the market.

The new Vodafone 3G mobile Wi-Fi device is available in four metros — Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai - and will be launched in other parts of the country in a phased manner. This compact mobile Wi-Fi device allows sharing of a mobile broadband connection with up to 10 users and up to 3.75 hours of usage in one charge.
