In November this year, Google India would be conducting a weeklong mentorship bootcamp called Launchpad for 25 startups. Under the program which would conducted at Google’s Bangalore office, Google India’s employees would mentor the selected startups on topics like marketing, design thinking and business development on a one-on-one basis.
Google already runs a similar program in Israel and plans to launch it in Brazil and Tokyo as well. Google is the principal sponsor of the 10,000 Start-ups program and would be taking some companies from the pool of 10,000 Start-ups shortlists from phase 3.
The company will conduct the weeklong mentorship bootcamp, named
Launchpad, in November at its Bangalore facility. Google India would
handhold the selected start-ups by Google India staff and give them a
tip or two on the issues of marketing, design thinking and business
development.
Google has said in an announcement on Saturday that it run a similar
programme in Israel. “We have plans to launch it in Brazil and Tokyo as
well,” it said.
A key supporter of the Nasscom’s start-up initiative, Google asked the
aspirants to the Launchpad programme to send their applications by July
31.
