After iberry, WickedLeak and Spice, Xolo has launched a smartphone powered by the MediaTek MT 6589T chipset.

Specifications of Xolo Q1000 :

  • This smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with BSI2 and a 5MP front camera.
  • The smartphone houses a 5-inch display with a 1280x720 pixel resolution.
  • This seems a tad disappointing seeing that there are smartphones that show off a 1080p display available in the market under Rs. 20,000.
  • The display of the Q1000S also shows off OGS, which explains how the smartphone manages to boast of a 6.98mm slim form factor.
  • A 2500mAh battery powers the package and the company claims that the smartphone will last for 327 hours of 2G standby time, 425 hours of 3G standby time, 22.5 hours of 2G talk time and 12.5 hours of 3G talk time.
  • The quad-core processor has a clock speed of 1.5GHz and the smartphone sports 1GB RAM. It runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
  • The device is expected to have a launch price of Rs. 19,000.
