Nokia's highly anticipated rumored Android phone, dubbed 'Normandy', might still be alive and kicking, according to @eveleaks, as a new tweet by the serial leakster displays the following message loud and clear,"The reports of Normandy's death have been greatly exaggerated." Bearing in mind the fact that in the past @eveleaks have provided fairly accurate information about rumours and speculations and it's a no brainer if this rumour also turns out to be true.
The dev team behind Normandy is lead by Egil Kvaleberg and Peter Skillman, the same people behind the Asha range of smartphones. The images of the Nokia Normandy point to a 4-inch display along with a dual-SIM variant, with a product code said to be RM-980.
It is highly unlikely that this kind of a device will end up being produced considering the fact that Nokia has decided to sell its smartphone business to Microsoft, however some sources strongly suggest that this device might see the light of the day even in the face of Nokia Microsoft deal.
